About this course
Public Speaking
Certificate issued by the Language Schools of the University of Salamanca
The fear of public speaking can come to us at different stages of our life: in a school or college presentation, in a business meeting, in front of the camera, or in many other situations where we might feel insecure when speaking in front of others.

Body Language
Non-verbal symptoms are produced by anxiety and can make us look stiff or produce repetitive movements in our hands or compulsive movements.

Verbal Symptoms
Verbal symptoms include a strained voice, shaky voice, and repetitions of verbal tics (Ehmm)

Physical Symptoms
Can appear in our body in different ways: sweating (in the hands or anywhere else), increased heart rate and blood pressure, stiff neck and upper back, dry mouth ...
Speaking in public is not something innate to us, but a skill that we must constantly develop and practice to increase our confidence in ourselves. If you’ve ever been in a situation where public speaking made you feel stressed, this is your course.
